The minimum initial contribution is $25 (no minimum when funding an account through payroll deduction or automated contributions and in certain other circumstances). The minimum subsequent contribution is $25. The maximum contribution limit is $475,000 for all accounts for the same beneficiary.
Opening an account
The NextGen Client Select Series is offered through a Merrill Lynch financial advisor or through a Maine Distribution Agent.
Once you have opened your account, you can work with your financial advisor to manage your account. You can also manage your account online – request distributions, make investment changes and contribute. Visit mymerrill.com to register to view your account online.
